01 — Process

Three steps. One day.

Designed for the moment when scheduling a Zoom isn't going to happen — but you still want a working actor's eye on your tape before you submit.

1

Send the tape

Upload your self-tape and the sides via the booking form. A line about the role and the project helps me focus the notes.

2

I record notes

Within 24 hours you get a video walkthrough — choices, beats, voice, the moment that's working, the one that isn't.

3

Re-tape & submit

Apply the notes, retape, send. The whole loop fits inside a 48-hour audition window — usually with time to spare.

4

Re-watch later

Your video stays in your library. The notes that helped today will help on the next role like it.

02 — Send a tape

03 — Right tool?

When Quick Notes is the right call.

i.

You have an audition tomorrow

The clock is the problem. You need a second pair of eyes, and you need them now. This is exactly that.

ii.

You're between time zones

Booking a live session means dawn calls or midnight Zooms. Send the tape on your schedule; get notes on your schedule.

iii.

You want to compare drafts

Recorded feedback you can rewatch beats live coaching you forget by morning. Stack notes scene over scene, role over role.

04 — FAQ

Quick questions.

How quickly do I actually get notes back?

Standard turnaround is 24 hours on weekdays. Most tapes come back faster — often within 6–12 hours, depending on when you send.

What if my scene is longer than 4 minutes?

Email me first. For longer scenes I'll either quote a custom rate or recommend Remote Scene Study, which is built for that depth.

Do you give written notes too?

Video by default — voice and pacing are easier to demonstrate than describe. Written summary available on request, no extra charge.

Can I rebook a discount on the next pass?

Yes — second tape on the same scene within 7 days is half-price. Most actors don't need it, but the option is there.

Sent the tape at 9pm, had notes by breakfast, booked the part by Friday. Quick Notes is my unfair advantage.
